    Today in the world that we live in if you didn't have a GPS when you go fishing you are likely to not come back home because people go so far offshore these days that when you are offshore you cannot see land, therefore you do not know which direction the land is without electronics unless you are a trained sailor.

    If you are actually trying to catch a shark then you should do so with forethought and preparation. The best time to catch a shark is really all year round, people will always say oh man the best time to catch a shark is in June but I think that is dead wrong.

    Bass fishing is just one of the many types of fishing. You can find bass in rivers, lakes, streams, fresh water, and salt water basically anywhere that there is water you can find bass to catch. As long as there is food, oxygen, and cover there will be bass present when you are fishing.

    Speckled Trout are very temperamental fish and are very sensitive to changes in water temperature as well as barometric pressure. Go fishing for them right before an approaching front in the Fall and you will see what I mean as they will eagerly eat anything you throw at them.

    Catfishing covers a large range of tactics. The tackle you need will depend on how you plan to fish. I'll go from simplest to the most complex.

    Channel catfish are found in many lakes and rivers all over the nation. Channel catfish are classified as scavenger fish and so they will eat most anything that is an easy catch for them and they are attracted to a wide variety of foods.

    Catfish tournaments are a great way to get out there with other anglers, have a good time catfish fishing, and maybe take home a cash prize or trophy.

    Of all the many types of fish to fish for, bream are claimed by many to be some of the easiest. Bream fishing is also some of the least expensive fishing you can do.

    Largemouth Bass and Smallmouth Bass are two completely different species. An angler must have a completely different approach when fishing for each of them.
